It has taken some time for me to finally post some info on Star and how she is doing. Rob and the kids surprised me with bringing her home the last weekend in June. I was at a women's conference and I returned to see my family walking with Star down to the driveway to meet me. She was so cute and friendly and seemed fit in so well with us. We enjoyed the following days getting to know her and allowing her to get to know us. She has done very well with our 3 cats, although the cats were unsure about her for a few days. They have since come out of hiding and are back to life as usual.
The one challenge we have had with Star is that she seems to have a bit of separation anxiety. She is also having some potty accidents. We are first time dog owners so we are learning much as we go to help her along. We took her to the doctor and while there, they noticed that her left eye does not dialate when light is shined into it. It will dialate when light is shined into the right eye. We are going to take her in one more time to do another couple of tests and determine if she should see an opthamologist. She does not appear to be in any pain and other than her eye, she is in perfect health.
We love her so much and are having alot of fun with her. We plan to do a training class with her when we return from our vacation in August. The kids and I left for Wisconsin a week ago and will not be back for another week. We miss her terribly but know she is in good hands with her foster parents Susan and Van and their Greyhounds. More to come when we are back from Vacation in August.

I read Star your comment. She wagged her tail and seemed very happy. She is having a great time with Dewey and Kane tonight. They all had a pig's ear and some Bil Jac. She has fallen back into the routine of our house with no problem. She is so happy and sweet.
Star follows me around the house. Anywhere I go she goes. She is doing great and she misses you all. She wants a t-shirt from your trip. Star sends her love.
